European-American University in the Commonwealth of the Dominican Republic of Panama has awarded an honorary doctorate degree to the famous Hausa political singer, Dauda Kahutu Rarara.
Rarara received the Doctor of Science in Humanitarian Service, Music, and Entertainment during the university’s 23rd convocation ceremony, which took place at NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja on Saturday.
Professor Idris Aliyu from the Governing Council of the university presented the certificate to Rarara on behalf of the Vice Chancellor.
In his opening speech, Dr. Musari Audu Isyaku, who represents Northern Nigeria for the institution, stated that Dauda Kahutu Rarara, Alhaji Ahmed Saleh Jr., Prof. Mustapha Abdullahi Bujawa, and Prof. Tarela Boroh were honored with these doctorate degrees due to their exceptional achievements and contributions to human development.
