Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has restated his administration’s commitment to the implementation of all the Memoranda of Understanding recently signed between Zamfara State Government and some Chinese Companies that indicated interest to investing in some sectors of the State economy.
The Governor made the remarks while receiving representatives of the Companies who paid an assessment visit to the State.
Governor Dauda Lawal recently led a delegation of some Zamfara State Government officials to China where they met with some reputable companies that indicated interest to investing in some critical sectors of the State economy.
The visit which lasted between 15th and 21st February 2025 culminated in the signing of various Memoranda of Understanding between Zamfara State Government and the Companies, especially in Security, Smart Agriculture, Transportation System, Construction, and Solid Minerals Development.
This is a Powerful delegation comprising representatives of the Companies who paid an assessment visit to Zamfara State as a mark of their seriousness and commitment to the actualization of the MoUs.
Governor Dauda Lawal who warmly received the delegation at the Government House Gusau applauded them for the visit and restated his administration’s commitment to the implementation of all the signed Memorandums of Understanding.
These according to him include the establishment of an Organic Fertilizer Company, Buses Assembly Plant, Provision of some sophisticated security gadgets and the development of the State Mining sector.
The leader of the delegation, Mr. Tang Zanway appreciated the State Government for the warm reception accorded them.
He emphasized their unwavering commitment to the implementation of all the signed agreements.
Members of the delegation are expected to spend two weeks in Zamfara State, during which they will extensively engage the relevant Stakeholders as a prelude to charting the next line of action.
