The Sultan of Sokoto and Chairman Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Nigeria, Ahaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, has announced the sighting of Ramadan crescent, making the beginning of fasting in Nigeria.
The Sultan made the announcement this evening in his palace in Sokoto.
He said the holy crescent was sighted in different parts of the Country.
The Ramadan Crescent was earlier sighted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today.
